The events of January 6th — and the subsequent attempts downplay it, including by the incumbent Congressman I am running against — revealed just how fragile our democracy is, especially in an era of extreme partisanship. I am proud to commit publicly to the free, safe, and fair elections that form the bedrock of these United States of America.
