I volunteer to observe election recounts because I am passionate about fair and open elections. This year, sixteen CT towns cannot field two candidates for Registrar of Voters, reflecting terrible wages for a complex job. CT needs to regionalize election moderation and hire non-partisan, professional election officials. We need systemic change as well as vigilance.
