More important than any policy, candidate, or party is our democracy. I am committed to defending democracy. I will never seek to degrade the trust in our democracy or our free and fair elections. As candidates, if we lose our elections, we may try again in two, four, or six years. As Americans, if we lose our democracy, we lose our freedoms indefinitely.
