I support the continuing effort to provide a safe, sound and democratic effort for all citizens to have open access to freely voting for the can candidates and issues of their choice. While the state of Florida has demonstrated a commendable performance in allowing for democratic elections, recent legislation in the Florida capitol has imposed new and unwanted and unnecessary restrictions, access and registration to make voting easier. I fear for the future in this state as it has taken a dreadful authoritarian turn to the right, bordering on a tototalitarian state government.
