Without free and fair elections, our Democracy is at risk. As a Democrat running for a state position, I have personally seen how money shapes the entire political landscape. At the national level, I am deeply concerned about the Republican candidate's willingness to spread lies and innuendo to influence the general election in November. Add into the mix interference from outside authoritarian leaders, and we have an even more dire situation. It's time to stop all of this.
