I have participated in elections here in Mecklenburg Co., NC, since 1976. Any question, any challenge, any support was always addressed/supplied by our Mecklenburg Board of Elections. Consequently, I have ultimate faith in our staff and in the volunteers who produce and report our elections.

Over 20 times with judicial help I have sworn to uphold the Constitution of the US & that of NC. I believe that the 5 principles, integrity, nonviolence, security, oversight, & the peaceful transfer of power, are crucial to the continuation of our democracy. We live with unmatched freedom of movement, thought, religion, vote & choice. It is up to our citizens to respect these principles & up to us as elected officials, no matter what our office, to join them & model this behavior.
