I am proud of our Constitution. When the checks and balances are reinforced, (eg the Supreme Court serves as the second sober thought to laws, our districts are not gerrymandered, presidents do not abuse using executive orders, etc) - stability and empowerment for all people results. It also increases the trust people have in their government.
