Our former President, Donald Trump, instilled fear and anger in the American people over cheating and controlling balloting. I know that integrity in voting is a never ending challenge, that problems still exists, and that each election's outcomes are resultant of continuous improvement.

Over the past 4 decades, in our state, fewer and fewer voters turn out on election day. Fewer, if any Democrats, even sign up to run for office.

We cannot allow the rhetoric of fake elections to paralyze our Democracy any longer. We must support fair elections and those working tirelessly to hault cheaters. We cannot discourage young voters, new voters, seasoned voters, or any voters. Our vote is our right. Our rights are rooted in the foundation of our Constitution. Vote to win a battle; Awareness to win the war.
